Trash and Recycling Inforormation

To view the trash calendar, which includes weekly trash collection (indicated by the boxed dates on the calendar) and every-other-week curbside recycling (noted by your “North” or “South” Route designation), we will update you on a new schedule as soon as we can.

Also:  Lucas County Household Hazardous Waste Recycling (proper disposal of many household items including cleaning chemicals, batteries, Fluorescent bulbs, and pool chemicals for a small fee.)  Must have an appointment- call 419-213-2230.
Paint can be disposed of using the kitty litter method (needs drying time; instructions can be found online) or using a hardening agent that can be purchased from your hardware store’s paint department.

Gross Electric on Reynolds Road will accept bulbs for a nominal fee.

Best Buy (usually in their vestibule) accepts batteries, toner, etc.  They will also help dispose of televisions for a fee.

Recycling Clothing-Goodwill in Whitehouse.  Drop-off during business hours is behind the building; ring the bell.

Yard waste recycling-Ohio Compost on Sager Road.  This service is free to Monclova Township residents.  They also accept concrete.
